He graduated from the University of London with LL.B (Honours) in 2011. In 2013, he obtained his Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) and thereafter, admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2014.

Mr William's law career path started when he joined Messrs C.H.Quay, Ng & Partners in 2011 and was assigned to the conveyancing department as a junior clerk. During that period of service, he was given unlimited opportunities to handle conveyancing files.

 

In year 2013, he further explored into another area of law in Messrs Bell & Lee as a litigation clerk and thereafter, underwent his pupillage in the same firm. He has gained much experiences in handling non-contentious banking litigation cases relating to hire purchase and property foreclosure.

 

After his admission as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2014, he then joined Messrs Keppy Wong & Associates as a litigation lawyer. Here, he deals with contentious civil general litigation and also criminal litigation. He is also familiar with works and processes in attending to remand centres, police stations, immigration offices and jails for applications to pose bail, opposing remand, taking of accused statements and so on.

 

Mr William then left Messrs Keppy Wong & Associates in September 2020 to join PM Lee & Co.
